Do you own websites?

Creating websites has been a favorite hobby of mine for many years now. Plenty have come and gone but some have stuck with me and seen success. I currently run 1 forum, 2 blogs, and a website for testing website performance. I'm always thinking of new ideas, the next big thing that could make money ...

Budget Speaker System

I've got into the habit of watching TV on my computer and I want to change that with a nice speaker system for my PC.
What I'm looking for is a surround sound setup, so maybe 5-6 speakers and a nice subwoofer.
Ideally, I can keep the price lower than $300. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

RAID 0 at home?

I'm considering adding a 2nd NVME drive to my system and running it in RAID 0 for ludicrous speed. Do you think this a good idea or a waste of time? Will I even notice the speed increase? There's nothing wrong with my system now, I'm happy with it but I can't help but try new things and this is alwa...

Re: AIO liquid coolers?

Corsair have always been really good at AIO coolers. I had a H60 which served me well for many years. I'd recommend the newest H60 or if your case can house it, the H115i. They are more expensive though, so if you want a 240mm for a lower price, try the Cooler Master LC240E. I prefer air cooling, th...

Re: VR in 2019 and beyond

I look at VR developments from time to time, and it's not yet at a stage where I'd consider investing in it. The graphics are still not good enough which is important if you want to be really immersed. The hardware needed to run VR games is kinda crazy as well, I'll wait a few more years when it can...

Re: What are your thoughts on IoT

Some things just don't need it right now... like... why do I need an internet connected Microwave  Yeah, this! I don't want a smart-anything in my house, I prefer the manual "old-school" way of doing things. All of these smart devices are just a point of failure and a target for hackers. I'll ...

Re: Thoughts on Disney+

Yet another service that I won't subscribe to. How many do we have now? Are we really expected to pay close to $100 a month for all of these streaming services? These big companies need to partner up and offer 1 big streaming service. I was only ever subscribed to Amazon Prime, they have a good offe...

Favorite Foods/Meals

What are some foods or meals you could eat again and again? I really love Chinese food, especially shredded crispy duck and fried chili beef. I'm a big candy lover as well, Twix has been a favorite for a long time and anything with peanut butter as well. And for an unusual choice, I absolutely love ...
